How Quick Can You Go Vegan?

You may ask yourself how quickly can i go vegan? How long does it take? Is it ok to go vegan in one day or do i need to transition?

The answer is, its entirely up to you. You can transition over a period of time or you can go vegan in one day, whatever way you are comfortable with. Me personally i went vegan in one day and i'm so glad i did. I didn't experience any negative side effects only positive ones within a few days. By day 3 i felt i had more energy and within a week i noticed my digestion had already improved. Ive always been a once or twice a week kind of guy if you know what i mean.... :D After being on a vegan diet for a week or two i was at once a day and it was easier to pass. For me personally its the more fruit and veg i eat, the better my digestion is.
If your not comfortable with going vegan in one day, you could start by gradually eliminating animal products. I would recommend starting with meat as that one would be the main thing that you would so notice positive benefits after not consuming. Secondly you could stop drinking milk, trading it for almond or hemp milk.. or eliminating dairy products all together like milk, cheese butter etc.. and going for vegan alternatives instead. Once you've done that you could start eliminating all the smaller things like honey, eggs and all the foods that contain animal products like junk food and treats.
Like i said before though its entirely up to you, in my opinion its better to go the full mile and do it all in one go to avoid making it harder for yourself. That way rather than feeling like you have to go without until you adjust a few times, you can just go without everything in one go, adjust and then its all done in one go, basically to me its less suffering and easier to get it done, but for others, maybe someone like you, it may be easier to do it gradually.
Side Effects
Some people experience side effects when first going vegan like skin breakouts, gas and bloating, body aches, brain fog, fatigue, low energy, headaches, irritability, extreme cravings (for sweet, salty or other unhealthy foods), constipation and diarrhea.
Don't let that stop you, this is all normal as your body is going through a detox period and is in fact a good thing. Once you adjust, this should all pass and the positive benefits will start rolling in and piling up. This doesn't mean that you will definitely experience these things because like i said, i never did myself.
Positive Effects Of Being Vegan
Having more energy (I had more within 3 days)
Feeling happier
Feeling more motivated and less lethargic
Feeling more motivated and less lethargic can lead to you being even happier as you get things done that you really want to and life becomes easier.
Seriously improved digestion (Sometimes instantly, sometimes after a while)
Better skin (including acne)
Improved health (In all aspects, mental, cardiovascular, immune system, fitness etc..)
Less chance of getting disease's and illnesses
Feeling healthier
Gaining closer friends & family because you have something in common (Veganism)
The satisfaction of knowing your saving animals, people, and making a difference to the world every single day.
Clearer mind
The possibility of even curing some illnesses (It has be done on a vegan diet e.g diabetes)
Less stress as you feel happier (things definitely bother you less when you are happy :D)
Healthier hair
